We are that generation Christ spoke of when He said:

“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” Matthew 24:32-34

The “branch” was manifested on October 13, 2004, when the Sanhedrin was ‘reborn’ in Tiberias, Galilee

“Rapture (1 Thess. 4:16-17)” Tribulation “Day of Christ (2 Thess. 1:7-8)”

The “Day of the Lord” begins after the Rapture and ends 1007 years later at the Great White Throne Judgment, it includes the Tribulation, Battle of Armageddon(Day of Christ) and the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ from Jerusalem until the Great White Throne Judgment

The First Trump blew at Mount Sinai in Exodus 19:19: will you hear that Last Trump of Revelation 4:1 or will you hear that Thunder of Revelation 6:1?

A Revelation of the First Coming of Christ!

“The first coming of Jesus was in Two Appearings”

· From the time He was baptized by John in the Jordan until He was crucified at Calvary; Sinners saw Him in His Natural Body (Matthew 9:10). His “First Appearing”

· From the time He Resurrected from the dead until He Ascended up into Heaven 40 days later; Only chosen Believers saw Him in His Resurrected Body (Acts 10:41). His “Second Appearing”

Did you understand that? When He first appeared in His earthly body, All saw HIM. But when He appeared in His Resurrection Body, only His believers saw Him. That was One Fist Coming but Two Appearings of Jesus Christ.

Just as there were “two appearings” of Jesus Christ at His First Coming; there will be “two appearings” of Jesus Christ at His Second Coming.

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:36

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ will be in Two Appearings

(The following is excerpted from “The Second Coming of Jesus”, G.F. Taylor, 1916)

The first appearing is to catch away the saints; the second is to setup His throne upon earth. At His first appearing the saints go up; at His second, they come down. After His first appearing, the Great Tribulation begins; after His second, it closes. At His first appearing, He does not touch the earth; at His second, His feet stand upon the Mount of Olives. At His first appearing, He is seen only by a few; at His second, He is seen by all. His first appearing will be sudden; His second, gradual. At His first appearing, sinners are not disturbed; at His second, all nations wail. At His first appearing there is no visible conflict; at His second, there is the Great Day of God Almighty--the Battle of Armageddon. His first appearing is ever imminent; His second takes place at a given time.

If the student of 'The Second Coming' will keep all the above points in memory he will see harmony between many Scriptures that otherwise will seem to conflict. From the following Scriptures you may know the truth of the foregoing statements:

Luke 17:24, Matthew 24:27-28, 38-41, Luke 17:34-37 , Luke 21:34-36, Hebrews 9:28, 1Thessanonians 4:26-27, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Thessalonians 1:2 , Isaiah 26:20-21

“First Appearing of Jesus for His Saints”

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:44

"From the above quotations (citations) it is evident that in the first stage of His second coming, His coming is: (1) Sudden -- 'as the lightning.' (2) To catch away the saints -- 'the one shall be taken, 'we shall be caught up.' (3) Not to the earth -- 'to meet the Lord in the air.' (4) Prior to the Great Tribulation -- 'watch and pray always that ye may escape all these things.' (5) To the few -- 'as a thief in the night.' (6) Not visible to the sinner -- 'they knew not.' (7) Not to fight a visible conflict, but to quietly catch away the saints."

To point out the difference between the first and second stage of the second coming we call attention to the following Scriptures, which we would like for the student to read very carefully:

Psalm 2:6-9; Isaiah 2:2-4; Isaiah 9:7; Daniel 7:13-14, 18, 22 , 27; Joel 2:30-31; Zechariah 14:4; Matthew 24:30; Luke 21:26-27; Acts 1:11; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8; Revelation 1:7; 14:19-20; 16:16; 19:11-21; 20:4.

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” Revelation 1:7

"From the above quotations (citations) it is evident that His Coming is: (1) Gradual -- 'Jesus shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.' (2) To bring back His saints -- ' The Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.' (3) To the earth -- 'His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives.' (4) After the Great Tribulation -- 'And then (after the shaking of the powers of heaven) shall they see the Son of man coming.' (5) To all -- 'To execute judgment upon all.' (6) Seen by all -- 'Every eye shall see him, and all nations shall wail because of him.' (7) To fight a visible conflict in the great day of God Almighty, in the battle of Armageddon -- 'to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty, into a place called Armageddon, and I saw heaven opened, and the remnant were slain.' (8) To set up His throne upon earth -- 'His government upon the throne of David.'"

Thus the plan of His Coming is to catch away His waiting saints. This will be followed by the Great Tribulation. After that will come the Revelation and the overthrow of Antichrist. Then will be ushered in the glorious Millennial Age and the reign of Christ and His saints.

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3

We are fast approaching the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” be not dismayed for it is written:

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” Daniel 12:10

Be strong in the Lord and pray always. Obey the rule of Law and pray for our leaders and all who have the rule over us. Keep yourself in communion with the Lord and full of the Spirit always looking for the Appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.

What We Believe:

The Divine Trinity consists of three Persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Ghost, perfectly united as one. Matthew 3:16-17; 1 John 5:7.

Repentance is a godly sorrow for and renouncing of all sin. Isaiah 55:7; Matthew 4:17.

Justification by faith (salvation) is the act of God’s grace through which one receives forgiveness for sins and stands before God as though he had never sinned. Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Entire Sanctification, the act of God’s grace whereby one is made holy, is the second definite work and is subsequent to justification. John 17:15-21; Hebrews 13:12.

The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the enduement of power upon the sanctified life, and is evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. John 14:16-17, 26; Acts 1:5-8; 2:1-4.

Divine Healing of sickness is provided through the atonement. James 5:141-16; 1 Peter 2:24.

The Second Coming of Jesus will consist of two appearances. First, He will come to catch away His waiting Bride. Matthew 25:40-44; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. Second, He will come to execute judgment upon the ungodly. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Jude 14-15.

The Tribulation will occur between Christ’s coming for His Bride and His return in judgment. Isaiah 26:20-21; Revelation 9 and 16.

Christ’s Millennial Reign will be the 1000 years of peaceful reign by Jesus on earth. Isaiah 11 and 35; Revelation 20:1-6.

The Great White Throne Judgment will be the final judgment when all the wicked dead will stand before God. Revelation 20:11-15.

The New Heaven and the The New Earth will replace the present heaven and earth, which will be destroyed after the Great White Throne Judgment. 2 Peter 3:12-13; Revelation 21:1-3.

Eternal Heaven and Hell are literal places of final and eternal destiny. Matthew 25:41-46; Luke 16:22-28.

Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman that is binding before God for life. Neither person has a right to marry again while the first companion lives. Mark 10:6-12; Romans 7:1-3.

Restitution is necessary, wherein wrongs against others are righted. Ezekiel 33:15; Matthew 5:23-24.

Water Baptism is by one immersion “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Matthew 3;16; 28:19.

The Lord’s Supper is an institution ordained by Jesus so that believers might remember His death until He returns. Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

Foot Washing is practiced according to the example and commandment Jesus gave. John 13:14-15.
