“A Prophecy Concerning Israel & the Return of the Children of Israel

“And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.  And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.” Amos 9:15-16

They are coming back in unbelief but they are coming back just as it was prophesied they would. No one should busy themselves with the Arab-Israeli Peace Process for God has ordained all this with a warning:

“The Ultimate End of the Peace Process”

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27

“Sign of the Fig Tree”

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” Matthew 24:32-34

The Fig Tree does not represent the “rebirth” of Israel as a Nation in 1948 as the Church has taught because of this verse:

“And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.” Matthew 21:19

Jesus would never curse Israel that it bear no fruit for ever for it is written:

“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.” Romans 11:26-28

If you want to know who the ‘Fig Tree’ represents;  find out who the “husbandmen” were in the parable of the “Vineyard” given us in: Matthew 21:33-46.

The Sign of the “Fig Tree” was manifested on October 13, 2004, when the Sanhedrin was reborn at Tiberius, Galilee, Israel, in the same location it was destroyed by Emperor Theodosius 1600 years ago. They are back!

The Second Coming of Jesus

“The Day of the Lord begins with the Rapture, then Tribulation and ends with the Day of Christ”

The First Trump blew at Mount Sinai in Exodus 19:19: will you hear that Last Trump of Revelation 4:1 or will you hear that Thunder of Revelation 6:1?

“The first coming of Jesus was in Two Appearings”

(A Revelation of the First Coming of Jesus Christ)

·        From the time He was baptized by John in the Jordan until He was crucified at Calvary; Sinners saw Him in His Natural  Body (Matthew 9:10).

·        From the time He Resurrected from the dead until He Ascended up into Heaven 40 days later;  Only chosen Believers saw Him in His Resurrected Body (Acts 10:41)

.

Just as there were “two appearings” of Jesus Christ at His First Coming; there will be “two appearings”  of Jesus Christ at His Second Coming.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:36

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ will be in Two Appearings

(The following is excerpted from “The Second Coming of Jesus”, G.F. Taylor, 1916)

The first appearing is to catch away the saints; the second is to setup His throne upon earth. At His first appearing the saints go up; at His second, they come down. After His first appearing, the Great Tribulation begins; after His second, it closes. At His first appearing, He does not touch the earth; at His second, His feet stand upon the Mount of Olives.  At His first appearing, He is seen only by a few; at His second, He is seen by all. His first appearing will be sudden; His second, gradual. At His first appearing, sinners are not disturbed; at His second, all nations wail. At His first appearing there is no visible conflict; at His second, there is the Great Day of God Almighty--the Battle of Armageddon. His first appearing is ever imminent; His second takes place at a given time.

If the student of 'The Second Coming' will keep all the above points in memory he will see harmony between many Scriptures that otherwise will seem to conflict. From the following Scriptures you may know the truth of the foregoing statements:

Luke 17:24, Matthew 24:27-28, 38-41, Luke 17:34-37, Luke 21:34-36, Hebrews 9:28, 1Thessanonians 4:26-27, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Thessalonians 1:2 , Isaiah 26:20-21

“First Appearing of Jesus for His Saints”

"From the above quotations (citations) it is evident that in the first stage of His second coming, His coming is: (1) Sudden -- 'as the lightning.' (2) To catch away the saints -- 'the one shall be taken, 'we shall be caught up.' (3) Not to the earth -- 'to meet the Lord in the air.' (4) Prior to the Great Tribulation -- 'watch and pray always that ye may escape all these things.' (5) To the few -- 'as a thief in the night.' (6) Not visible to the sinner -- 'they knew not.' (7) Not to fight a visible conflict, but to quietly catch away the saints."

To point out the difference between the first and second stage of the second coming we call attention to the following Scriptures, which we would like for the student to read very carefully:

 Psalm 2:6-9; Isaiah 2:2-4; Isaiah 9:7; Daniel 7:13-14, 18, 22 , 27; Joel 2:30-31; Zechariah 14:4; Matthew 24:30; Luke 21:26-27; Acts 1:11; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8; Revelation 1:7; 14:19-20; 16:16; 19:11-21; 20:4.

“Second Appearing of Jesus with His Saints”

"From the above quotations (citations) it is evident that His Coming is: (1) Gradual -- 'Jesus shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.' (2) To bring back His saints -- ' The Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.' (3) To the earth -- 'His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives.' (4) After the Great Tribulation -- 'And then (after the shaking of the powers of heaven) shall they see the Son of man coming.' (5) To all -- 'To execute judgment upon all.' (6) Seen by all -- 'Every eye shall see him, and all nations shall wail because of him.' (7) To fight a visible conflict in the great day of God Almighty, in the battle of Armageddon -- 'to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty, into a place called Armageddon, and I saw heaven opened, and the remnant were slain.' (8) To set up His throne upon earth -- 'His government upon the throne of David.'"

Thus the plan of His Coming is to catch away His waiting saints. This will be followed by the Great Tribulation. After that will come the Revelation and the overthrow of Antichrist. Then will be ushered in the glorious Millennial Age and the reign of Christ and His saints.

“The New Testament Church

“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:27

This church of God cannot be destroyed. It is indestructible. Neither the devil nor any of his children will ever have the privilege of attending the funeral of the Church, for the Word says that even “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Because of that she is like the ark of Noah, floating over the angry billows, but not engulfed. She is like the burning bush, on fire but never consumed: like a city that is ever besieged but never captured. She will stand safe because Christ is the foundation and the capstone; and all the world cannot remove her. And what is true of the church as a whole in this respect, is true of every member of it.

For the first few centuries the church on earth was a beautiful monument of grace. She walked stately before the world; she stood before kings and princes, and went everywhere God told her to go; she was a power that the world feared; and for three hundred years every step she took left a mark never to be erased. When she was in that condition she groped into the alleys of the cities with the Gospel message; she climbed the broken stairways of the tenement houses and brought a message of compassion; she went down deep into the mines and took the heavenly sunlight there; she stepped into the forecastle with the sailor and said, “When Jesus was on the vessel and it was about to sink, He spoke to the winds and the waves and there was a great calm.” She went into the tent with the solider, and to the farm with the farmer and reminded him of the day the Son of Man walked through the beautiful fields of grain and His disciples plucked of it to satisfy their hunger; she went into the counting-room with the merchant. And that is not all; like the air, she pressed equally upon every side of society, east, west, north, and south. Like the ocean she flowed out until her waters laved every shore. Beloved, the church made herself felt as no other organizations could, because Christ was in her.

But alas! A change took place. The world came and made a proposition. He suggested to the church: “Come walk with me.” But the church withdrew her snowy hand and said, “I will not go with you.” The world coaxed and she gave him her hand. The world said, “If you want the patronage of my people you will have to dress as they do.” And the church laid aside her pure white garments and decked herself with the fashions of the day. The world said again, “If you want the patronage of the world you must leave your plain meeting-houses and build fine edifices.” –
S.A. Jamieson, The Great Shepherd

“The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teachfor hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon theLord, andsay, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us.” Micah 3:11

“Faith Statement”

1.                    We believe there is but one living and true God, everlasting, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness: Maker and Preserver of all things, both visible and invisible. And in the unity of this Godhead, there are three Persons of one substance, of eternal being, and equal in holiness, justice, wisdom, power and dignity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

2.                  We believe that the Son, who is the Word of the Father, the very and eternal God, of one substance with the Father, took man's nature in the womb of the blessed Virgin: so that two whole and perfect natures, that is to say, the Godhead and manhood, were joined together in one person never to be divided, whereof is one Christ, very God and perfect man who actually suffered, was crucified, dead, and buried, to reconcile the Father to us, and to make atonement, not only for our actual guilt but also for original sin.

3.                   We believe that Christ did truly rise again from the dead, and took again His body, with all things appertaining to the perfection of man's nature, and ascended into heaven and there sitteth until He shall return to judge all men at the last day.

4.                  We believe the Holy Ghost, proceeding from the Father and the Son, is of one substance, majesty and glory, with the Father and the Son, very and eternal God.

5.                   We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, known as the Bible, composed of sixty-six books and divided into two departments Old and New Testaments. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, the full and complete revelation of the plan and history of redemption.

6.                  We believe that eternal life with God in heaven is a portion of the reward of the finally righteous; and that everlasting banishment from the presence of the Lord, and unending torture in hell, the wages of the persistently wicked (Matthew 25:46; Psalm 9:17; Revelation 21: 7-8).

7.                   We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the remission of sins that are past; and for the regeneration of penitent sinners, and for salvation from sin and from sinning (Romans 3:25; I John 3:5-10; Ephesians 2:1-10).

8.                  We believe, teach and firmly maintain the scriptural doctrine of justification by faith alone (Romans 5:1 )

9.                  We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the complete cleansing of the justified believer from all indwelling sin and from its pollution, subsequent to regeneration (I John 1:7-9).

10.              We believe that entire sanctification is an instantaneous, definite second work of grace, obtainable by faith on the part of the fully justified believer (John 15:2; Acts 26:18).

11.                We believe that the Pentecostal baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire is obtainable by a definite act of appropriating faith on the part of the fully cleansed believer, and the initial evidence of the reception of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Luke 11:13; Acts 1:; 2:1-4; 8:17; 10:44-46; 19:6).

12.              We believe in divine healing as in the atonement (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:14-18; James 5:13-16; Exodus 1 5:26).

13.               We believe in the imminent, personal, premillennial second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 4:15-18; Titus 2:13; 11 Peter 3:1-4; Matthew 24:29-44), and we look and wait for His appearing (II Timothy 4:8).

14.              We believe the responsibility is incumbent on every believer, in his chosen field of Christian service, to dedicate his life carrying out the work of the Great Commission.
